LaSienne opened July 1, 1985 with the vision of providing extra value service and an extraordinary customer experience to its guests. During this time LaSienne has surrounded themselves with some of the most talented stylists in the industry. These professionals have excelled in many aspects of their field. Todays LaSienne staff is comprised of some of the best hair designers, colorists, estheticians, make-up artists, and nail technicians in the Mid-Missouri area. Each team member strives to increase their knowledge and skills through continuing education. This combined with the individuals own unique talent and insight ensures that the client gets only the latest and the best. Just as hair trends and styles are everchanging and evolving, so is the industry behind them. LaSienne has observed and eagerly embraced the innovations that bring about such changes. Where focus was once solely on hair, it now includes beauty, wellness, and fashion.In 1995, LaSienne went through a dramatic make-over itself. It was at this time that LaSienne partnered with Aveda to become an Aveda Concept Salon. Aveda is anenvironmentally and socially responsible company. We promote business, social and ecological practices that foster healthier lifestyle and environment. Close to this same time LaSienne moved from 114 E. High Street to 110 Bolivar.Their new home is about 140 years old. It was saved from demolition by the Cole County Historical Society, and was subsequently moved from the Mill Bottom area to the present location. It has been lovingly restored according to specifications of the Historical Society. So 1995 marked more than a simple change of address. Thanks in part to our relationship with Aveda, it was also time of renewed attitudes and priorities. Come and experience the LaSienne difference for yourself.
